Bottom
The bottom view reveals how the grass-cutting blade is strategically shifted slightly to the opposite side of the edger. Pulley System – Edger Up
When the lever on the push bar handle is pulled upward, tension is applied to the cable connected to the pulley system. This action lifts the edger arm, moving it from the engaged to the disengaged position. As the edger arm rises, the vertical blade stops spinning and is securely positioned out of the way, allowing the mower to operate independently.
